Hilla Mayer Lighting Design Studio oversees diverse architectural projects, providing exterior and interior design services for private as well as public projects. The studio is located at 10 Tushia st., Tel Aviv, offering lighting design services for museums, offices, hotels, public buildings, private residences, malls and open spaces.

Hilla Mayer holds an MFA in architectural lighting from Parsons School of Design (NY) and a BFA in interior design, and has over 15 years of experience in lighting design. Hilla oversaw numerous projects, including: Israel Museum, Habima Square, Ya’acov Garden, W Hotel Jaffa, Ben Zvi Institute, Norman Hotel, Mamilla Hotel, W Hotel Amsterdam, Deichmann Square, YOO towers, Rothschild 1, Arison TLV Office, Polonsky Academy Building, Van Leer Campus, among others.

We believe that lighting is a crucial component in any architectural design. We collaborate closely with a wide range of designers and architects, promoting functional lighting based on energetic efficiency and tailored to different budgetary needs. Lighting has a decisive impact on how people feel in a space – and we are the ones who know how to design it so to create any desired atmosphere.

Our work is characterized by innovative thinking, precision and boldness. We insist on uncompromising calculations, proper contrasts and combinations of general, accentual and decorative lighting. Who can use our services? Everyone. From private residences to offices, public buildings and leisure spaces.

In addition to her work in the studio, Hilla lectures in many institutions and platforms: ILGBC Israel, Bezalel Academy of Design, Shankar, and HIT (2008-2013) as well. Hilla continues to promote and advance the field of lighting design in Israel, and is a member of IALD (International Association of Lighting Designers), WIL (Women in Lighting) and SEEEI.

Please Note: not every project can afford a lighting designer. Therefore, alongside full services we also offer short-term consults on an hourly basis (remotely as well). Hilla has an extraordinary ability of providing crucial input and suggesting affordable solutions that will have a wonderful impact on your building.
